Those of you that have the portable xm units, where do you put your magnetic antenna, I put mine center of windshield, but not satisfied with that because its not completely attached, can anyone think of better spot, I was thinking drivers side outside pillar. Ideas???

I set my sat antenna and nav antenna in the left and right bottom pillers next to the windshield. On the inside.
One on each side.

I have a Sirius antenna sitting on the top of the rear crossmember. It's magnetic so it sticks there out of sight. I ran the cable through the vent opening on the driver's side rear corner in the storage area.

Simply remove the left side tail light housing and the crossmember is easily accessible.

I mounted mine under the dashboard to the right of where the HUD projector goes. Mounted it to the big beam that goes from side to side under the windshield. Works great and is 100% hidden.

I have a siriusXM antenna (SV200) routed to the back of my '01 'vert. It's fed through the back wall of the trunk area (along with some other wires for my backup camera) and 3m double-sided taped to the outside of that back wall, roughly between the license plate and driver side tail lights. I used some of that shiny aluminum tape to secure the wire to the panel as well so it wasn't hanging around. I've had no issues with reception so far.

I have mounted them on the rear cross member behind the tail lights, on the dash by the passenger side pillar and my latest one is on top of the fender well in the back of my Z. Still deciding about the fender well, I have had some reception issues in other locations.

I put mine on the passenger side at the corner of the windshield.

I'm tempted to reroute mine to mount up on my gauge pod pillar, though I think the reception problems I have near home is due to our house's location. Need to find a local friend with a similar antenna and see what their reception's like.
