So i have been thinking about getting an air intake and was looking at the Varam. i've heard a lot of stories of improper fitments and so forth but i was wondering if they are worth it. Anyone who has one....did you notice any actual performance gain? also, did anyone using this system notice any fuel mileage increase? if anyone else using another system who noticed fuel mileage increase, please let me know the gains and the system. thank you.
I agree with Road Runner that there is a slight improvement in mileage provided the car is driven in the same way. However, most of us have installed them to get more hp and as a result tend to drive them a little harder. So much for the gain in fuel economy!
I installed mine in 2005 and have loved it! Makes the car come to life in cold air big time. I also installed the z06 screens. I am going to add the Corsa pacecar tigershark just waiting on the WCC X Pipe. After installed I will flash with my programmer!! Would love to do KOOK headers but may be too much!!

Well worth the money. It's not the nicest/prettiest system but it is the only true cold air intake. You will feel it. There is an mpg gain. I highly recommend everyone glue the filter into the upper housing with silicone. The seals suck.
Pay close attention make sure it's the B2 call and inquire , vendors still selling the B1 as 2 there is a difference ! Pay full price and buy direct better safe than sorry . Been there .
