Default Detailing questions

Has anyone used a random orbital sander with a foam polishing pad for buffing? Seems to me it should work fine, my sander is variable speed.
Does polish work to remove fine scratches in the removable roof panel?

Just make sure it's a random and not rotary. You'll burn through your paint in a second if you're not careful.. Good luck and have fun. Those DA's can produce some amazing results.

Thanks for the links. My question is the random orbital sander essentially the same as a random orbital buffer?
