They look absolutely ridiculous and I will never understand why people think they look good. They are too large and make the car look like a hot wheels car.
I have seen some combinations that look great!!! But some of the Responses already!!! Are like WoW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So sad!! it's 2013 People can put what they want on their cars!!! I run C6 18/19 combo!!! Am I ghetto because I did what 100,000 others have done??? Stock is 17/18 LMAO.
19/20 setups are too big IMO. The only time they look acceptable to me are on black rims like the poster above me. Black rims by their nature look smaller so it doesn't look as out of place.
I like the 19/20 set up, personally, for cruising.
If I used my car for racing, autocross, drag, etc, I'd probably change the wheels out so I could fit a tire that's more conducive to whatever type of racing I'm doing.
20" wheels are pretty standard on the rears of a lot of performance and exotic cars these days (including an option on the C7?)
All this talk of 20's making it ghetto and put spinners on it....blah blah blah....you should probably roll through the hood every once in awhile to orient yourself. 26" and up is how the hood rolls.
Plans of a 19/20 set up here, have a couple sets of the forgestar CF5s here and have purchased the rear skins, 345/25/20s mounted on a 20 x 12 for the rear(flared quarters)
Have 20 x 9.5 or 19 x 9.5 for the fronts. Gonna use the 19s for the front right now till they come out with some CF flared front fenders then stuff the 20s up front as well on 275/25/20s
Should have the CF rear quarters by the end of June, personally can't wait to stuff the rears on, love the fat widebooty look
c5 from the rear is just so............me so horny, rotflmao
20's in the rear with a nice big sized lip looks perfect. Since the face of the rim is actually further in on the wheel, it gives off an illusion to look smaller.
Still have the 17/18 stockers. As long as I can keep finding tires for them I'll keep 'em. I like the polished thin spokes. If I were to change I would go 18/19.
