Tire Gel/spray
Hello,
I'm sure this has been discussed previously somewhere, but I am looking for the best tire spray. One that doesnt "splatter" on to the body of the car when moving. Thanks in advance.

asking this is like asking what tires a person likes, with that said "I" prefer http://www.303products.com/ I use it for everything including our boat with great results. 1 thing I really like is any black plastic you have that is faded, by using per directions, it brings back the shine & luster. I also really like using it on my trailer tires that sit for long periods to protect them from dry rotting. it truly does help, if you apply as recommended.

I've been using a Stoner product called More Shine. It's in a spray can & very easy to use just spray it on & your done. You can use more then one coat if you want more shine. Lasts a long time & doesn't splatter.

I prefer using NoTouch. Spray it on, let it sit for about 5 minutes and then hose it off. It keeps the natural look of a new tire. If you like shiny rubber it is not for you.

I use Adam's Polishes V.R.T. - it's a gel, stays on the tires very well and does not have a high gloss to it.

Another fan of Adams VRT. My son came over to the house to wash his car and broke out some kind of spray. I had him do one of his tires with it and then gave him the VRT and an applicator sponge for the others. He did the tires and threw the spray stuff in the garbage before leaving the house.

10 days ago I put 303 on one side of my trash can lid and Maguire's endurance on the other. that very first night it rained and the next day, the 303 was gone and the Endurance still looked good. it looks good today too, still looks dark and rich but in slight decline. and it has rained a few times since the first application 10 days ago.
to date the absolute best product I have found for black plastic restoration is this Endurance stuff. its marketed as a tire refresher, and does a great job on tires. Its purple in color with a grape fragrance. The good thing about it is it stands up to rain and road and air borne contaminants. You can find endurance anywhere. Zaino is mail order but still a great product.
IM going out right now to shoot a picture of my lid... this is ten days in.. 303 on the left and endurance on the right.. it has been in the 90's all weeks with rain showers almost every day. Ive only done this lid one time 10 days ago. I don't know how the photos will look on the monitor but endurance is a lot better than anything else Ive tested. pictures shortly. its raining on and off today. BTW this trash can is 3 years old and weather beaten.. Ive never put anything on this lid prior to the test of 303 and Endurance

I agree with ET. I use the Meguiars Endurance.
Works great and lasts a long time, I apply with a tire sponge applicator.
Be prepared for a small amount of sling even after sitting for 24 hrs before driving.

Exactly. Use an applicator that is made for tires and it is simple and quick. The Adams regular VRT is water-based and will eventually wash off with washings and wet roads, however their new Super VRT has fixed this issue even though it is still a water-based product.

Biodegradable is not something I want to use for longevity outside especially since it will break down quickly outside under normal environmental conditions. Water breaks down biodegradable products easily. if you want something to last outside, you don't buy a " Green Product".
