Whining noise?
So I just got my supercharger on and tuned (well almost) and in the middle the belt jumped an tore the outside edge off. I ended up cutting 2 ribs off to get it to the weekend. I drive to work like 2 miles and we wanted to see how it ran for a few days before looking into the tune more. As my sc isn't making boost(that's another story).
Well it's been running and acting fine except I will say I noticed its just barely harder to turn the wheel (still very easy). I figured that with the skinnier belt it may be slipping on the ps pump. Well today the car whines now. Not a supercharger whine. It does that too. But this whine sounds exactly like a ps pump. However it gets louder with rpms and does not change at all when the wheel is turned. I tried to isolate the sound but didn't have much luck. Does anyone have any ideas? Did I mess up my ps pump?
