I doubt the two issues are connected. This is usually a sign of low refrigerant, or bad HVAC door motors. For the $60 a dealer would charge you to recharge everything, it's probably worth it to bring it in to have them confirm.
Sounds like an actuator problem, or a vacuum option. You could have pulled/broken the vacuum line behind the intake area or the one under your battery. There is also a connector at the wheel well near the battery.
Check the codes. You should be throwing a code with either problem.
I'm having an issue out of the A/C, as I've discussed here before. However, something came to mind.
I had the harmonic balancer replaced a few months ago and the A/C was working find before it went in for the fix.
Is there any correlation?
My issues with the A/C is it blows somewhat cold on the passenger side, but the center vent and driver door are warm.
If you have the dual zone thermostat it could be a door motor. Either way get the refridgerent checked first. Low refridgerant will cause the drivers side to be warmer. A little squirt of refridgerant cooled my drivers side right down.
Thanks guys. Seems like I've read something about a #27 fuse or something? I know I'm probably saying it all wrong, but anyone have an idea what I've seen pertaining to that?
I figured whatever I can try at home first, is worth a shot...
The fuse 27 resets your Blend Doors - for example if your drivers side blend door was confused for some reason, pulling #27 for longer than 1 minute is supposed to reset its memory (for lack of a better term).
However, before you buy, or have your blend door replaced, please have a professional charge your air system. I believe I spent almost $350 on putting a new door motor in when in actuality it was most likely low on Freon due to a cracked compressor.

You can pull the fuse to temp reset the actuators. However, would be best to show the codes you are throwing first.
