buying a 2002 convertible and wanting to get rid of the standard gray wheels. The car's in Illinois and won't pick it up till later in the week. if my research is correct the standard size wheel/ tire is 18 x 9.5 P275/40Z. I am planning on going to the C-6 Grand Sport style chrome wheel. What's the largest / best fit on a C-5. I like the 17" front 18" rear like on the ZO6 but will the fit the standard vette wheel wells. Any help would be appreciated.
Here's a pic of mine with 18"/19" C6 Grand Sport, stock C6 width and diameter and tire size. The offset is C5, I got them from House of Wheels. I much prefer the larger diameter size. I went with stock C6 size tires in the Michelin Pilot SS and couldn't be happier.
