Went to a Corvette show yesterday. I believe there were 107 cars there, and some were really amazing with the mods they have done. I saw my first Calloway Vette up close and personal. I think it was a 2012, but not sure. All I can say is wow, what a car. I don't want one because I think I would be afraid to drive it, but quite a car. There was also a '67 there with a 427 in it that the guy had bought new right out of college. He even put the OE tires and wheels on it to take it to the show. He said he took the tires off of it right after he bought it and only puts them back on for shows. Pretty neat to see that car, all original with 27K on it. Got some good ideas for my car while I was there.

Sounds slick. Calloway puts out some really beautiful stuff. If i could make a suggestion... Get a camera. Even cell phones take pretty good pictures these days. Just sayin...

Thanks for the input about not having a camera guys. Where I work we are not allowed to have cameras in our phones, therefore I had to take them out of my I-Phone. I did not think to take another camera with me. Lesson learned.
There's an older gent who lives near me that has a 2005 Callaway that has 618 h.p. 6 speed and he drives it like he stole it. Btw, he's 87 years old and I'm not lieing. Great guy and naturally very young at heart.

They're great cars for the money. And they'll only go as fast as you let them, so don't be afraid to own one.
Thanks Mr. Jean, I was starting to think I was the only one that sometimes forgets things! My wife was not with me and she would have thought of it. I was just excited to be going!
Nice car's but they are not really tuned for high HP.
A guy I know locally bought one NEW from the dealer. (09 or 10 model)
Came with the blower on the LS3 and everything.
Man was he pissed when we went to a dyno day and he only dyno'd about 480 on his supercharged LS3... .
What pissed him off even more was that I dyno'd 471 on my heads/cam LS6...
I was happy though....
He called Callaway and they told him that if he touched the driveline they would void all power train warranty.
So he is waiting for the warranty to be over so he can properly get it dialed in. There is at least 100rwhp on the table to be had on his setup.
Seems like a lot of money to pay for a full blower setup car and not a lot of HP....
Toque
Too many unknowns in your statement or recount of your friend's trip to the dyno for me to say what was right or wrong, but I do know our 2010 SC606 ran 10.8 @ 128 in the 1/4 mi, then was driven home.
A lot of variables on the dynos, shop to shop, but we know one thing, we build the most powerful, drivable, emissions complaint and warrantiable specialty Corvettes available. www.callawaycars.com
While some have said more power could be on the table, it may come with a concession, elsewhere.
