C5 Winch Cable Location

C5 Winch Cable Location
I am taking delivery of an open aluminum trailer to haul my car to/from the drag strip. The trailer is equipped with an electric winch. What is an acceptable location to attach the winch cable to the front underside?

I would install an eye hook in the front of the car, I have seen them mounted coming out of the fog light opening.

I have the flexible tow strap on mine. I cover it with license cover when not at the track. I winch mine up a couple of times a year to make sure it all works in case car can't make it on its own.
Without the tow strap, you can go ahead and attach your tow straps to the frame and then attach winch hook to the crossed tow straps. That is the easiest if you can't drive it on. Good luck with it.
