Get out and drive it - that's what the car was designed for and you'll get a ton of pleasure out of it behind the wheel rather than having it sit in the garage.
I had my 04 up for sale for a couple of months with no bites. I had left it parked in my garage during the time I thought someone might buy it. After getting no responses I got it out this last weekend and drove to a local car show and took my grandson "cruising" around the countryside. Drive it and enjoy the trip(s).
I bought mine with 47k miles on it looking show room clean, now it has 87k on it with rock chips and light scratchs in the clear (like a normal car will get) and people still always ask me if its a new Corvette lol, guess people dont keep up on auto news. But I drive mine whenever I feel like it and love it. Most people just see the Vette and never the imperfections. Plus being a 97 I dont think your going to lose much value from the actual selling price by putting another 40k miles on it unless you lock it in that garage for about 50 years....
Drive it!! A few dollars more when you do decide to sell can't make up for missing the rush of being pinned back in the seat on acceleration, or carving through some twisty back roads.
list it for slightly more than you want but drive it as you wish . if someone offers a price you'd accept then take it . if not then you have at least ''enjoyed'' it .
