C5 Corvette Headlight Motor Assembly Issue
My driver headlight stopped working so I got the brass gear to replace inside the motor housing. I did it but there is not power.. My friend must have disconnected some power (fuse?) so I could manually move the headlight up and down without the noise of the stripped gear. I am trying t figure out where he disconnected power. I looked at the fuse and #3 has a 10v fuse and #4 has a 20v fuse. Anyone have any ideas for my fix? Responses are much appreciated. thanks
Ok so I checked fuse 3 and 4 and those are the right fuses and I have power on the pass but not on the driver. Is it possible that it doesnt work bc I may have reinstall the headlight pigtails in reverse? please help!
Ok I made sure the unit works by trying it on the other side. It works ... so there is no power to the headlight motor and the fuse for it has a fuse #3 /#4 ... is there any other way my buddy who I cant get a hold of could have disconnected power just to the hl motor without taking the fuse out? thanks
