not the same old hood liner question
So I have my hoodliner off right now so I can paint it. The thing is that the hoodliner is dirty, not bad just a little dirty. I want to wash it and clean it up before I start painting it however I don't want to loose the embossed flags or ruin it in any other way. Is it safe to hose the headliner off and use a little soap and scrub it (if necessary) to clean it or will it get damaged, loose it's rigidity, or lose the embossed logo?

Someone must of tried to wash mine or something sometime 'cause the edges are all coming apart. I was going to take it off and paint it until I saw that. From what I've seen replacement is about my only practical choice.
