Dunno... while it may work, if I were concerned about saving a few pennies I probably wouldn't of bought the Vette. I think I'll stick to the name brands. But that's just me. Your car, your choice.
I cant believe will use pledge on their cars, Im going to stick with products meant for the car. Spending a couple hundred on Adams soon enough since the car is being painted in a couple weeks.

Chemicals are chemicals. If they achieve the desired outcome who cares what name is on the container or how much it costs?
And where on the Pledge can does it say "can not be used on cars"?
That said, after reading the thread in the C6 forum there was too much positive testimonial for me to NOT try it out. I'm being honest, it definitely gives more shine than Meguiars quick detail and Mother's Showtime....but it DOES require more work to spray on and wipe off..
Silver is almost impossible to show gloss in photos, this is the best i could do.
Same with pewter.
I have the same problem with my Jeep's silver...I can't ever get the picture to show how truly clean it is. This is about the best picture I can get of it.

I'd also like to note that my car hasn't been fully detailed in almost 2 years and hasn't seen a proper washing in 3 weeks.
Only products I use on it are Meguiars Ultimate Quick Wax after every wash, and Meguiars mist and wipe quick detailer between washes... I don't garage my car but I also don't drive it in the rain or when the roads are wet, so it never REALLY gets dirty.
Meguiars = easier to apply....Pledge = better shine.
