Default #7 plug against firewall...

So...I just got all my plugs out on the car....everyone complains about the one on the driver side against the firewall...but honestly...that one was easy compared to the passenger side that actually points at the firewall....took me 5 mins at max to pull that one....now I just gotta put all of the new ones in.

will do it.

I still gotta get the plug wires...some kind of packard brand that was on it just fell apart when i barely pulled on the stubborn ones...i planned to change anyway.

Id prefer to find some local wires so I dont have to wait to get some shipped....but cant find something I feel is suitable....everything I find in stock at parts stores are 7mm.

Well...
Seems you missed the very first step in the procedure of plugs change out ?

Have the supplies in your hands/possession before pulling your old wires/plugs out.

I've had good experience with the MSD 8.5's in conjunction with heat
sleeves/socks . (Lg headers)

I was surprised at how easy the plug job was.. my friend took one bank and i took the other and we had it knocked out in ~20 minutes. How did your plugs work? mileage?

GM Performance Red Spark Plug wires are some of the best and also well priced. Somewhere around $60 if I remember correctly. I have them on my car with about 500whp and not a single issue

After I got done changing my plugs out I showed my hands to my wife and said " This is why I don't miss being a mechanic " it looked like I'd been in a bare knuckle boxing match. My hands are extra large though, at least thats what my gloves say.
