Rear ended by an O'Reilly truck. Nothing huge visible, but is there anything that is going to sneak up on me?
She's our baby, we are the original owners and this is the first thing that has happened, if you don't count some nutless moron throwing a rock through the back window last summer
Man, sorry to hear that but glad there's no visible damage! Given that, it couldn't have been much more than a love tap so I wouldn't think there's much to worry about.
Get it checked out by a qualified body shop! Had some guy back into my Wifes Acura and it looked like nothing but a broken license plate frame. Ended up bing 800$.
Sorry about the incident. It happened to me a few months ago except it was hit and run, a lady just happened to get the plate number,,,,,,,,but no insurance anyway hope it gets fixed ok

So how bad was yours and were there any mechanical surprises when repaired?
How can that be? Oriely trucks are cell phone free. Not allowed to even have one with them. Oh wait maybe it's because they only pay minimum wage so they only get loosers. I would agree get it checked out just to be safe.
My guess would be that the area will/may show cracking of the paint after a while once it sees enough thermal cycles. Better look at the surface really closely with a magnifying glass to see if you can find any hairline cracks now.

The back bumper cover is flexible. I bet if you look in the sunlight, you'll see reflections of where the flex caused crack lines in the paint. It happened to an 03 I once owned. I didn't notice it when it happened, but later in the sun it was very obvious. Looks like spiderwebs.
