One of the 1st steps in rehabilitation is admitting you have a problem. The kia is a problem! Especially since it was to replace a vette! As a non-licensed rehab coordinator I sentence you to 1. BURN THE KIA!!! 2. Keep making the payments on the kia so you will not forget your mistake for many years to come. 3. No insurance claim on the kia.
If you can complete all 3 steps you will be alllowed back into the fold,, on lifetime probation!
Or option 2, which is, say sorry and get a new vette ASAP.

I would go with option 2.
no amount of repent can make up what I have done! I feel like piggy in lord of the flies, or jack buying beans in jack and the beanstalk or the entire cast karate kid 4!
Very nice reply! He died right? I always thought he left for a girl...he should of just "let it be"
He is still alive. Actually touring with his own band still. There are a number of theories why he was sacked, none have been substantiated. Going by what Pete says, he was let go (by Brian Epstein and not any of the other Beatles) because:
He was an average drummer
He was a loner and didn't hang out with the other guys, wasn't one of the inner circle
He was the best looking and got all the girls
Probably a little of all three.

Wait a minute I always thought he had a brain aneurism and died? Being the best looking will do it, I know the feeling, my cross to bear.

When they first started, they used Pete Best's house to practice in. His Mom had some sort of teenage club that she ran out of the garage. She actually used to book their little local gigs. There were all sorts of stories including the ones above. The Beatles, Brian Epstien, and George Martin all said it was the record company who said get rid of him if they wanted a deal. Looking back, John and Paul both admitted it was pretty crappy about what they did to him.
Is this Kia a family car ? Will a new Vette be the second car or will the Kia be traded in on your Vette purchase. There seems to be more to this story because they're out there and you shouldn't have much trouble finding one you want.

I think Best's demise from the band was also propelled by his stubbornness to change images. Amongst a host of other reasons. When Best was their drummer they were the leather clad greasy hair, just like every other band. That trend was coming to an end, they had the foresight to want to change the image. Best pushed back. Ringo was already turning the corner and was playing A room venues and separating his image from the bad boy club. Though they had long hair for the time, they were comparatively better dressed and wore well fitted matching suits and funky pointed ankle boots. Not knowing they would change the world for years to come. In actuality their early music that jettisoned them into what they are, by most of today's standards were pretty wholesome.
And memory serves me right, Paul McCartney to this day drives a blue and white C-5 vert.
I'm back here on the C5 forum after a 6 year absense. Just picked up an 01' vert. 28k miles. I'm not lying when I say this car feels better than my 07'Z. It shifts better with a heavier clutch, the steering has some heft to it. It has better high-speed stability. I might just garage it and leave the Z outside.

Better high speed stability!? Thats amazing. I would have never thought that. I thought the C6Z06 was like the pinnacle of what you could want for that! These truly are still amazing cars!
