Seat Belt Brake

Notice my seat belt does not grab when I pull on it hard. Any one have a fix for this problem. Guess in a bad hit the belts are not worth much use this way. Thanks

You are meaning the seat belt, not the shoulder belt?

sorry, I meant the shoulder belt.

seat belt

When you go to put your seat belt on, pull it out all the way first. Then fasten it and let it retract.( For spirited driving only). Look in the owners manual and it will tell you this. There is a lot of info in the owners manual. Mine stays in the glove box to refer to when needed. To test your shoulder belt out, it should hold you in place when you step on the brakes. Someone correct me if I am wrong.
