Bought the awesome Z06 from Badd Vette.

Spent 12 hours in airports.

Got the car.

Drove two hours and then got a room at the Knight Inn for $34.95 plus tax. (I'm classy).

Took a 3 hour nap and shower.

Drove 22 straight hours to home.

The car had a fight. The Header beat the plug wire in Arizona. Slight delay at Autozone for patch work.

Averaged 92 mph.

If someone tells you that coilovers are comfy, promptly smack them in the face. They are fine for the first 500 miles.

If you have California plates, it gives you the right to drive in the left lane on the interstate for no reason at all.

If you have New Mexico plates, you live in a trailer park as far as I can tell.

If you are a cop in Arizona, you are eating donuts because I did triple digits for the entire state and the radar never went off. (you rule!)

If you have Texas plates,....well you live in Texas and nothing is bigger than Texas at least in your mind.

Oklahoma....you suck....sorta....
Speed limit goes down. UGGGG

Then the turnpike...
Green flag racing!!!

And Missouri (home). (It has downfalls too).

Car needs a tune. 750 RWHP next week.

I still haven't really slept. Got a couple of hours in and then it was SPONGEBOB time with my little one.

Guys it was light hearted. The speed limit decreased in OK by 5mph. But the Turnpike was excellent.

This is not a stab at where anyone lives.

This was about what you see from I-40 and crossing two time zones quickly.

Never mind. Delete post. I know why people do not share here. Waste of time.

Get some sleep and chill bro. Your post was fine, (because we all know you meant 92 mph average on the track that you stopped by and had a blast on) give it some time and let it simmer.

Literally laughed out loud at the ( "I'm Classy" part ) just prior to answering 911! That could have ended badly.

The above points were my favorite! Congrats on the Z06 and never stop posting because of what someone says. Everyone means well and will give you chit from time to time.

But we all have a common bond.... That BEAST you drove across 2 time zones at warp speed

It would figure that the speed limit goes down a bit in Oklahoma. Very conservative. Kudos to the only state in the Union with not a single county that goes liberal!

I don't think you are allowed to average 92 mph for 500+ miles, have car problems, and then be upset about it.

But hey, congrats on the Vette

You're new here - sometimes you just have to take some of the comments with a grain of salt. Congrats on getting your C5 and making the trip back home relatively trouble free.

You are one lucky s.o.g. to get through Az. at that speed. That is one state that I always just set the cruise at the posted limit and never go over.
