That floor is really nice. Looks fantastic. Are the tiles true black and white? I ask because the Home Depot and Lowes vct are speckled. Thanks.
Thanks,
They are speckled. The white has some red in them which looks good with the red wall and the black is speckled with white and grey which works well with the other white walls
Looks great! I recently finished my garage floor using an epoxy coating I bought from Lowes. It looks great but it was a lot of work. I wish I had tiles now.
VCT is great to use on a Garage floor if the floor is prepped and skimmed smooth as glass. If you jack up the car or your jack stands, make sure you used 3/4 plywood under.
You also need to be careful with the change in weather conditions, VCT is designed to be at room temp and indoors. If you live in warm year round climates you should be ok. I live in Chicagoland area and VCT would not be a good choice for my garage.
A good thing about VCT is that if you F up a few tiles, heat it up with a torch and remove the bad ones, the heat re activates the glue and throw in some new ones!

@Blitzkrieg- So I should be okay in my part of FL? We have three seasons here, the coldest of which is absent.
A moisture test on the concrete would be best. How old is the garage floor?
A good coat of wax on the VCT will keep the FL. humidity from getting under the VCT, I HIGHLY recommend you skim the floor with Ardex Featherlight and sand/buzz the floor smooth before install. Proper prep is Key!
Beautiful job on the install! Great-looking home for the c5 now!
Yep, I've always done lots of work on my Racedeck. Two homes now that I've layed Racedeck down in and it never stops me from doing big projects on the cars. I tend to lay cardboard down for the heavy-duty, messy jobs to make cleanup easier. I use jacks, ramps, etc. on the racedeck. The great thing about it is, if you damage a tile, you can easily pop it out and pop a new replacement in place in just a few minutes. Done it a few times.

Patches,
Did you bolt down your 4-post lift? If so, you drilled through the Racedeck tiles correct? Just want to make sure they don't crack if you drill through.
BTW, I think I'm about 3 Gladiator cabinets behind you. Love their stuff!

wow I'm glad I read this!!!! Thanks Blitz!!!!!!!!!!!
I also live in the Chicagoland area (well, 100mi west), and I was getting ready to try the VCT, didn't realize they were temperature sensitive.
I do keep my garage about 50* during the winter...think that would be alright? Course we do have power outages though
I thought those tiles would be a good bang for the Buck $$$$$$ and labor friendly and his looks Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreat!
I've bolted it down in both garages I've had it in. I cut the tiles to allow the lift pads to sit on the concrete and then bolt it to the floor.
The tiles are polypropylene and cut and drill easily.
