HVAC control
I'm stumped! Had the dreaded problem of dark/no display on my 97 C5 HVAC control. Tried the soldering fix (twice). That didn't fix the problem. Display would go blank and then come back on randomly. Ordered a new OEM control unit. Figured problem fixed. Still no display! DIC code for HVAC reads "No Comm".Any suggestions? I'm at wits end.

sorry to hear about your troubles, it must be in the car's wiring then. inspect the connector and wiring harness and look for anything dirty, burned, cracked, out of place, or anything in the way that shouldnt be there?
