[Z06] tranny shop???

tranny shop???
I have an 02 Z06 and my tranny is bad, every time I shift to 4th gear tranny grinds I have to let the rpm's to go all the way down, is there a tranny shop anyone recommends around the san Jose area

Have you used any local performance shops? Any of them should have a local tranny shop they use.
If you're gonna crate it up and ship it across the country, then you might as well go with RKT (http://rktperformance.com/transmissi...c5-corvette-2/). He's cheaper than RPM, and has many happy customers, as far as I can tell.

thanks for the info but I'm not looking to take my tranny out, I want to take it to a shop where I can drop it off and pick it up when its ready, has anybody dealt with a certain shop around this area or know of someone who has worked with a shop.
