I am sure this has been asked a few times before but is the a way to hook up an ipod to the factory stereo and if so how?

DoubleDMods for sure, There is a DIY thread but it has a lot of issues, Doesn't charge the iPod and you can't control the ipod with the factory unit.

Dennis is the man. I recently bought the kit to do this (not with an iPod but with my iPhone) and need to get it installed soon. Instructions are on the Double D Mods web site.

I added the $4 aux jack to my console. I now play all my songs from my phone via the 3.5 mini jack. No you can't control it from your HU nor does it charge your devise but it works for me!

I did it with a kit from Double D. Works great. Charges the iPod! iPhone 4 or iPhone 5 with an adapter. You can move forward or backward between songs. You can't use the remote factory cd player though.

Do a search, lots of info.
