Default Trunk Partition

Hey,

I'm thinking about making my own, and saw some of the ones offered on the net.

Seems like I could make one that ISN'T heavy, fill it with dynamat or something similar and have a good noise dampner without as much weight.

Any suggestions on whether any of the commercial ones are really good enough not to bother with making my own?

Tom,
I made mine with:
- 1" pink foam board (that they use as installation in houses forgeting what it's called)
- Black Marine carpet from Lowes
- 3M Spray adhesive
- Duct tape.
(Around $25 total).

I measured the lengh and height them cut it in half. Got the right side to fit using a utility knife. Then used it as a template for the left. Taped them together in middle and carpeted.

Less that 2 pounds. Easy to pull down and push back (one handed) to lay crutches in the back. You can do a lot more... but this works great for me and looks good.. Cools/Heats faster and quieter when you want it to be.
