I've used their product once before on an Acadia reverse light, and it was good at protecting and changing the look (tinted out the white section of the tails).
Just wondering how the blue would look on the front end of the C5. I was thinking blue for the headlight, clear for the DRLs, and then buying a universal 4"x8" sheet in blue to do the fogs. Curious what the light output would look like with the headlight foglight. The factory setup gives off a yellow/dirty white look currently.
I contacted the company and they tell me the light output would look more white, but I would like some real world experience...if there is any.

Haven't tried the product. That said, I would stay away from any tint color. It will lower your light output (this includes those blue tinted bulbs on eBay). You might consider the clear product for protection, though. Then, if you aren't happy with the color, go with the appropriate temperature HID kit. Bear in mind, however, that the higher temp (bluer) HIDs you use, the lower the actual light output will be. However, since HIDs put out so much more than Halogens, you'd still come out way ahead even with the higher temp HIDs.

Thanks. I have a 6000K HID kit I just bought, but have not yet installed. Wasn't concerned with actual light output as I never drive it at night and only get stuck in the occasional rain storm during my 5 mile commute. I was just having second thought on installing the HID and just getting the Lamin-x instead. Really just want the updated color more than anything else. I'll just install the HID kit I have and be done with it.
I, too, would be weary of a tinted product, as it really just decreases the light output, and the C5 headlights aren't particularly bright headlights in the first place.
I'd certainly throw some HIDs in the fog lights, that's an easy swap to do.
You shouldn't put HIDs in the stock headlights, as it will scatter light everywhere. You need projector lamps to do HIDs in the headlights, and a set of projectors to fit the C5 headlights are $300-$400+ for a set.
What I would do for a cheap way to update the look of the C5:
Put LED bulbs in the turn signals/running lights.
Put HIDs in the fog lights.
Put LEDs on the reverse lights.
Put Silvania Superstar 9006 bulbs in the headlights. They're a little brighter and white/bluer than stock lights.
