Need C5 in FL for rear diffuser prototyping (free diffuser)
Hey guys, I want to seriously look into this and my manufacturer would like to look at a C5 to see what our options are for making a rear diffuser. What I would need is someone in the Pompano Beach area to take their C5 down so they could take a look at it, maybe do some measurements etc. I would expect it to be very quick and you'd be in and out if there. Then if they decide they could make something you'd come back and drop off the car for maybe a week or so and in return we'd offer a free diffuser.
Keep in mind, this may or may not happen. They'd have to see the car first to decide if it can't even be built (without hacking up the oem bumper)
No not yet. We need to determine if it can even be done to begin with. As mentioned we could make anything If people were willing to cut their bumpers to install one. They want to look at a bumper and see if they can come up with something that would work without sticking out too far etc.
I would have no problem as well cutting up my bumper been waiting a long time for one. Something like the Chrome and Carbon type would be nice as well.
Why re-create the wheel? Mold it after the C5.R. Theirs is functional and looks bad-***.
Way too many attempts at a C5 rear diffuser, and many attempts have failed. The best looking diffuser in my opinion thus far, is the Breathless Performance C6/C6 ZO6 design that warrants the center mount exhaust.
I'd be interested in the C5 diffuser as well, but looks are just as important as functionality.

Me personally more interested in it for more style on the rear. I drive my car on the street not only on a racetrack. I can understand the track guys wanting a functional one.
