Default Before / After lowering thread

Do we have a Before and After lowering thread anywhere?
I am itching to lower my c5z but have to find out if I even can with my mountain of a driveway.

It's not the hilly parts of the driveway that will get you. It's the dips that will scrape your front end. That's why my car is stock height at the moment.

As to your question, I don't know about that specific question, but there are several threads on the issue of lowering. Do a Search and you'll see them.

I lowered mine check out my last couple of threads, lots of pics. I took off my side air dams after scraping going in and out of my steep drive way . No more scraping going into at an angle. Check out firs pics compared to last ones. Big difference . There are three or four threads on before and after .

Figure about an inch drop in the front and rear when you're done.

Take your car to the harshest point on your driveway and see how much clearance you have now and see if you have an inch to give.

It makes driving like a video game but if you have to have it you have to have it. The driveway being too steep is another thing though. If it's two lanes or three wide I don't think it would matter to me I would still lower it. I just can't stand my car sitting too high. The look changes so much when it sits down.

Sorry about the picture quality... The before lowering picture is actually the day I bought her and the only pic I could find.

Keep us posted on what you decide! GL

Wouldn't different size tires be easier (and safer)?

That was actually my plan...to have my wife watch and see how close the actual bumper gets when going out at an angle. I know the bottom air dam thing scrapes....So its only an inch?

Buy some frame savers and front rollers from A&A corvette you won't regret it . Never realized how low mine was until I looked at the bottom

I was always against lowering as I was always afraid of my driveway (my driveway might as well be a 90 degree angle lol) but I caved in and lowered on stock bolts only, no cutting bushings or anything, just adjusted the bolts to their lowest position, and I get in and out of driveway only touching my air dam.
Before

After, it's a tad bit lower than this pic now that it has settled down a bit

Before- lowered on stock bolts:

After- Coilovers...

Recently trimmed the front air dams by 1". Made a HUGE difference in the amount of scraping I do.
