What amazes me and makes me a bit jealous, is Rick has done all the MODS on this BEAUTY himself. All exterior, interior, and performance, man if I was that patient and talented I would saved myself at least 20k in labor. Rick mine was S/C and I live in H-town,put down 575hp and no problem overheating. Dewiits radiator and a 160 thermostat is all it took. GREAT JOB as usual, L8R ZFLASH

I do it cause I'm not loaded and can't afford to pay someone else. It's going to take another year or so to get where I really want it. Besides, it's better for me to take this car and mod it, than take out another car loan and buy a C6 Z, or C7 and go back to the bottom and struggle with a car note.
It's a different kind of satisfaction when I do something myself. Years ago before becoming a Designer/Inventor I was a Technician working at a dealership and later offered a job at a larger corporation maintaining fleet cars and trucks. So it's not like I'm some Baker/clerk who decided to start doing things. I'm just wired up to try things myself, even built my own house cause I saw my Dad build his. When you have limited finances that becomes motivation to do it yourself. Otherwise, I could only watch from afar and wish I had the car of my dreams.
Now I do and it get's better each day.

As I was once told in Bangkok in 1966 while on R&R, if you are worried honey just stick the tip in. We don't want to see the whole enchilada, just a taste, down the street. LOL
Yes...Patpong Terrace was an interesting place to get a haircut.
