Those Smith guys must Weld it better than they spelled it. I like the pro approach.
Rube that I am , I went to the store and bought some hardwood for the job. I think it was an oak door lintel, or whatever you call it across the bottom door entrance.
I guess I could wood-burn in some amateur Corvette racing logos, but it just wouldn't be the same.

Mine is lowered and no way I could get them under the car without driving on to ramps or wood, I would be willing that a stock height car will have the came issue, But I could be wrong.
yeah, no way that will work on a lowered car. I'm on LG coilovers and I can JUST get my low profile jack under the rear cross member when it's on flat ground. Even a non lowered I'm not sure how close it'll be.

When I'm gonna put mine on jackstands, first thing I gotta do is drive up on the 2 piece ramps, then jack up the rear, etc.

I have a hard time getting my jack under the sway bar!
You gotta admit though, it suuuure is purrrty!!!!! And for a lot of members here, that carries some significant weight!!!! A lot of us have very elaborate methods for getting our cars off of the ground. Sooooo, what is the problem with doing it with such a pretty piece such as this?!?!?!?
I like it.........I just don't have a garage, so it's a moot point for me.
