I just finished installing my c6z06 big brake kit on my 97 coupe when a day later my rear hard line cracks from rust. There is not an ounce of rust on the car but both rear hard lines aren't looking good. I need to replace them but having some trouble finding a kit. Where can I get the two rear lines? I figure since I'm doing the one that cracked I might as well do the other..
I'll get some pics up of my brakes too! Looks great!
Has anyone had to replace theses before? Any ideas where to get lines? My last resort is making them myself.
Because you live in Philly. If you remove the lines, you can take them to a place called Delri . Its right outside of Chester on Chester pike in Delaware county. Delri is a commercial business that does all types of hydraulic lines for big rig trucks and commercial tractor, Cats, etc. I've used them several times for automotive applications. you bring in your lines, and they will make up the exact replacement.

I do still need a set. Just to clarify I need the metal hard lines not the flex or braided lines. Everyone I call assumes I need the soft lines. What e next step? Price? I'd like to order ASAP to get her back n the road.
I am back to the drawing board. I removed the rear lines and need new ones. These shaped line were only used in the 97-98 years from what I was told. Unfortunatley I cant find any take offs and local shops want 150+ just to bend me new ones. Any suggestions or help? How difficult would it be to do myself? I was thinking of hitting NAPA or autozone. Im handy enough to do brakes, rotors, calipers and remove the lines......
