Houston or Bust!

Bill

522 is very respectable, you will see 600hp after Alkey install!
Nice work now get in that seat and go bang some gears!
Remember that moment when you first nail the go pedal, all of us FI guys are chasing that first high so to speak!
BTW...they have a C6Z with over 1400hp that is going for the Corvette Texas mile record, the 1400hp isn't enough so they are adding another 1000hp like their 2400hp Camaro.
They also have the record holding Mustang 231mph car in the shop too.

The Best of Corvette for Corvette Enthusiasts

about 10% lower because of the resistance it puts on the tires.
If true that would put you at 574HP and 530TQ.

I did notice that some of the shop guys would list off the numbers of the real race cars as one thing, then state the numbers were a "little" higher in reality. BUT again, that's just the salesman in them and the wishful thinking of me in all likelihood.
Let me correct the spelling of the tuner, Joe Huneycutt is how it's spelled. He's very meticulous and I love the shop, you could eat off the floors! One youngman named Jesse is always there with simple green and a rag polishing anything that hit's the floor, great to see such a motivated guy who loves what he does.
I watched them work on some awesome cars, real race cars, as well as a 68 GTO with a LS7 install. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone after seeing how they treated their customers who came in. It's one thing to talk smack, it's another to have the records showing the numbers of speed records. One word of caution though......it's tempting to join in the fun of building a track car.

Rick - Once all is done and tuned there are a few things you will want to do to make it even safer - a couple add on's!
In the beginning it is all to easy to get overwhelmed, but once it is done and the numbers are in the extra things can be added (bolt on's) to make it safer and also yeild some better results!
We will talk when it is tuned!

Thanks,Matt

I am in "new territory" and have a big learning curve ahead of me. FI is a strange new breed and I'm going to have lot's of fun!
I can't wait until you do a couple of pulls when the weather is down in the 65-70 degree range (January?). The results will be even better.
Gauging your enthusiasm, I suspect you will be re-building the bottom end of that engine very soon. Until then, just be cautious. It'd be no fun having your grenaded car sitting on the shelf awaiting an unscheduled re-build.
