Seat Foam
Ordered new skins for my C5 Sport Seats. The car only has 53K miles so the actual seats are in good condition "Foam wise". I will only be needing to replace the drivers bottom seat foam. Has anyone had experiences with the aftermarket Seat Foams versus the OEM or GM seat foams?? The price difference is pretty much half!! The aftermarket foams appear to be correct shape wise, just not sure of the foam quality. A lot of times the OEM or original GM parts cost more just cause they are that, original GM parts???

I replaced the driver side after 100,000 miles, along with new seat covers for both seats. No problem with aftermarket product. I'm not clear that there is any difference at all.

I hated the dj foam. I never could get comfortable and my head would brush the roof. Install sucked because it was too thick. When I went to pull it out the velcro pulled off because it's just glued on instead of formed into the foam. I replaced it with ecklers foam and was instantly happy with it. Others hated it as well but many are happy with it.
