So I just put two new hankooks on the rear (front are still gy run flats that I'm waiting to wear down more before putting the hankooks on). Now at speeds over 70 mph the car feels like it sways slightly side to side. I got an alignment. It got a little better but still doesn't feel right.
I had the wheels off for about a day while I brought them to get mounted and balanced ( car was on jack stands in the rear).
Could this be caused by a defective tire?
Or maybe something to do with having a run flat up front and non run flat in the rear?
UPDATE:
I got the new Hankooks put on the front and it solved the problem. I guess having the softer tire walls in the rear allowed the car to sway ever so slightly. It was down right scary driving on some of the roads where construction was being done. Thank you everyone for your input.

Reason: Update
Alright I still have about 1/3 tread life but ill try getting the new tires mounted and balanced to see if that fixes the problem. I'll report back next week after I get a chance to mount the tires.
Did this problem start when you put the Hankooks on?
Or was it kind of there already and now it's just worse?
During the alignment, did they check tie-rod ends?
Yes it did start when I put the hankooks on.
I had the wheels off for a day and the suspension hanging all the way down while I was having the tires mounted and balanced. However, I don't think this could have affected anything.
The tie rod ends are all good. I actually just replaced one a few months ago.
Thanks everyone. It does make sense that this could be the likely culprit. I'm going to try to bring the front in on Monday to have them mounted and balanced with the hankooks. I'll report back on Tuesday after I get some driving time on them.
