LG, hands down. The longer the tubes, the better to scavenge the exhaust pulses. But get your checkbook out.

LG, Kooks, AR all make good headers. Just depends on how much you want to spend.

I have a set of stainless JBA long tubes right now. They've been good headers so far, can't complain, but I'll be going with Pfadt Tri-Y's when they become available for the c5 to complement my heads/cam I'll be going with as well.

Kooks new version C5 LT headers look like an easy install. They are a forum vendor and offer a quality product: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-g...te-header.html

AR, LG, Stainless Works, Dynatech are other quality popular brands.

I really don't think there's a "best" out there. Everyone thinks what they have is the best. There's probably little if any power gain differences between top brands. Mine are Dynatech headers & cross pipes along with hi-flow cats. The instructions were clear & detailed, the hardware was top notch, and the install was straight forward.

I have LG Street Series on my 99 which I installed this spring. Not too bad to install yourself, just a little time consuming. Great add of power and sound out the back

I hear LG are good, ONLY IF they are tuned by someone who know's what he is doing. Some people actually lost HP going to LG's until they were tuned correctly then they gained X HP and TQ! If your on more of a budget check out XS headers as they have good reviews as well.

I am running Supermaxx from Dynotech. Very pleased, but I would go LG if I knew now what I didn't know then. LG is the best.

Diddo on the living room photo

I'm in the market as well. When the timing is right I would like a little more volume and HP. LG Street series I hear are decent, what's with the different diameter sizes?

Anyhow when I do make the investment I'll have them shipped direct to a place that will power coat them and then get them sent to me. Otherwise they all get black. Yes?

Good luck on your purcha$e and be sure to give feedback on your decision and how you like them. Thank you.
