Default Jack Stands

I had found these through searching other posts and they look like something I would trust... at least as far as I trust a jack stand in general.

But while these look solid, does anyone know if I can find jack stands with this weight capacity / design that also have a modular top like what you'd find on a jack? That is, I'd like to find jack stands of a type where I can swap the head out to best suit whichever project I'm working on. In this case, I would make some pucks to work with the C5 jacking points which also would mate to the stand.

I am ready to attempt a clutch swap in the garage and have to go the jack stand route... so this is a big question for me!

I can't tell what stands you are asking about. I got run of the mill jack stands from sears. They work fine. I also made some wood blocks (so to speak) that extend across the front and rear cross members. I had seen these blocks on the forum here and just cut up some 2x4's to extend across the F/R cross members. I also built some low profile ramps made out of wood (also seen here), to get the car off the ground enough to get my floor jack under. The ramps liked to slide, so I got some sticky stuff for kitchen drawers. It looks like a woven mesh of some sort, but sticky. I guess to keep knives and forks from sliding around in drawers. It worked, I was surprised, done deal.

I don't know how your going to place them, but I have had my car up off all fours, using the jack stands under each end of the F/R cross members. I did not do a lot of shaking and rattling though.
