im still in the middle of doing alot of work to the car. i still need to install my custom fuel system and holley fuel rails. once i do that the evap stuff will be removed. that's if i can figure out how to do it safely...
for those that are interested in doing this mod it is very time consuming, cutting the coil wires back takes some patients but its well worth it.
there are so many ways of accomplishing it that i can list a guide of parts i used but there are a million ways to do it. the hardest part is making the new wires
You don't have to remove it, you can relocate it by extending the hoses. I hid mine on the drivers side under the master cylinder. Make sure you isolate it from anything solid or the frame though, there is a valve or something in there that vibrates or clicks when it is active. I had mine touching the bottom of the MC before, and I could hear the clicking inside the car. It drove me INSANE until I figured out what it was.
That would be a slippery step towards the Form over Function side.
You mean like the stainless mesh you have on the upper radiator and overflow hose, or the fancy caps you have on the master cylinder and coolant reservoir?
