Took the vette out for a little ride yesterday. It was a nice day for a ride.
On the way home from dinner, I pulled out of the parking lot shifted into second and gave it some gas, the car stopped pulling at like 45mph but the engine was still reving. I think the clutch was slipping.

Do I need a new clutch?
car 00 Coupe Mn6.
Thanks

Try this simple test. Try driving it as slow as possible (without stalling) in 5th gear and then floor the gas. If your clutch is toast, it will slip when you floor it.
It did not slip out of gear, it was like the car had no power and something was slipping. did this in all gears, as soon as I gave it power it felt like it was slipping. there was no smell, and if I went easy on the gas it would not slip.
