Track day booked.
A brand new 2.1 mile road course opened up this Spring in upstate NY, just outside of Oneonta. It’s called New York Safety Track. I’ll be taking my pretty much stock Vette ( 2000 6-speed F-45 suspension ) to the track for the first time on Sept. 28th. I've made plenty of 1/4 mile passes with my big block Chevelle, but no road course time. Any advice or tips from the experts here is welcomed. I’ll be going with my brother ( Honda S2000 ) and my buddy ( SRT8 Challenger ). It’s a “member only day” so I’ll get seven, 20 minute sessions.

change to fresh brake pads, get hi-temp brake fluid and do a fresh flush, get a helmet, water, and check over the car. I did a fresh fluid change, new belts.
A TIP: I was sliding all around in my stock seats, someone told me to use the sticky cloth for kitchen cabinets and wrap the back of the seat and the bottom of the seat so you dont side all over.
