Thanks everyone. I'm hoping for around 500 flexplate HP on motor. I don't really think it will ever see the whole 250 shot, eventhough I built the engine for it. I can only pull 4 degrees of timing through my controller though. I'm using an NX "Maximizer" controller and HSW timing retard. This is primarily a show car. That's why we're sticking with the 3.15s. Plans are to spray enough to get a 10.50 pass out of it.
looks great, why not increase the air flow w/ a fast and bigger throttle body?
I couldn't justify the huge expense for the small HP gain. It's not real likely we will need all 250 of the hose to see a 10.50 pass. I can always just spray a little more to achieve the goal.
