Floridians my know more. I have heard that this type of stuff is done in Florida when the love bugs are active. Some just carry along a bottle of detailer and rags to wipe the car down periodically along the way.
Not where I thought you were going with that Steve.
I'm curious to see solutions to the problem besides a bra or lots of elbow grease.
Got your attention though huh?
Yeah, I know about carrying detailer, etc but given the 4 days I spent doing paint correction on my car I REALLY don't want to introduce any swirls in the paint again and it seems to me that bugs on it would have a good chance to do that.

This love bug season I thought I would try spraying the front with red plastidip. I've done pam and it helps but the bastards still stick. They sell a clear spray on mask product I haven't tried yet. But mostly it gets washed and the end of everyday
Hadn't thought of Plasti Dip, but I don't think they make EB. I know about the blaze colors but not a match from what I can tell.
They should come out with a clear PD... (anyone listening? I'll only take small royalties. )

They have something like that. I should have thought of it sooner...
I may check it out, thanks! They also have a spray handle attachment with it. It looks a lot like the CanGun I got to test from a hunting site (don't ask). The CanGun works GREAT, can't say about the one advertized with this.

You could also use some blue painters tape on the front end. Not the most attractive, but be easy to keep the bugs from damaging the front end of the car.
Bras on a car are only useful for aggressively sanding the paint off your front bumper. If you're doing a track / salt flat run, painters tape or vinyl wrap it (latter's actually pretty cost effective if you make the DIY effort)... for long-term protection go with a clear-bra setup. I will never understand the folks who put a 'regular' bra on the front of their car...
