So I just bought a new stable mate (at least for the time being.)
All of you that remember Suzan Summers in American Graffiti will identify with it. Two tops, white, driver...
I'll likely sell it pretty soon though..
Got it started today, it runs like a top.
Brakes seem good, it does have power steering. Aftermarket steering wheel, and a trunk full of new chrome and stuff.
BTW this is two years in a row with "barn finds".
last year about this time it was a 65 Vette that has been found to be an original fuelly. It went to a buddy of mine because I didn't want to waste the rest of my life restoring it.
Nice find there and as far as flipping cars on the side, why not? In the mid 2000's I bought and sold 7-12 cars per year it seemed in those years people sought me out to buy cars because they wanted them gone fast, some cars I didn't even wash others I fully restored. One rule I always had was do not buy nothing that you can't live with in case it doesn't sell for a while. Most cars I dealt with were Mopar muscle cars but did dabble with a Firebird andf AMC javelin, almost took a bath on the Javelin.

Very nice find.
Back in '72 a d**K head I knew inherited one just like that with low mileage from his grandfather. He shortly thereafter painted it red. Two years later he got drunk and drove it off a cliff. He survived, the '57 didn't
