The CF community is so helpful, I just wanted to write a brief acknowledgement and share some information in hopes that I might do my part in paying forward a favour by providing some hopefully helpful info about the great car we all own and love.
I noticed that on my DIC, the lights were out on my "Fuel" and "Gages" buttons. It was an easy fix; I just wanted to share a little info.
There is actually only one bulb illuminating those two buttons. This bulb is situated behind and in between the two buttons. If your bulb is loose and not working as mine was, simply peel off either or both buttons to gain limited access to the bulb in behind. I actually just manipulated the bulb with the blade of my pocket knife to motivate it to illuminate.
Maybe that's all you need, too. If that's the case, it beats dismantling the entire dash only to find out the DIC bulb still works; but is simply loose.
Hope this helps.
Again, thanks to a great community here at CF.
