I found the idea of a gray Corvette to be disagreeable. Then I actually saw a Spiral Gray and thought it was beautiful. And yours is.

Thanks. Flashback to early 2004 when I started seriously shopping C5 Corvettes, I never thought I would buy a gray one. I had focused mostly on Torch Red, Mag Red II or Lemans Blue. I had checked out a few silver ones, but I was mostly targeting Mag Red with a black interior/top. It was when the salesman walked me through the showroom to check his regional inventory that I walked by my vert. I had never seen the Medium Spiral Gray in person and the paint looked great under the showroom lights. It was love at first sight.

When I drove it home and my wife saw the gray paint with the black interior/top, she laughed and said "It figures you would buy that color since you're a White Sox fan." Honestly, it never crossed my mind. It must have been a subliminal thing...

Thanks for all the comments guys.

For those of you who know my car, I performed a slight (un) mod last week. Anyone recognize it? I didn't want to do it, but I was forced into it due to some (apparent) douchebag Mustang owners at a local mixed car show.

Hint - Less is more.
