new best tonight
wow, I finally got a chance to run with my BFGs. They're 275/40s mounted on 17 X 8.5 99 C5 rims. Boy, did they make a difference! :
60ft.... 1.723 :D
330.... 5.048
1/8..... 7.790
mph... 91.42
1000.. 10.107
1/4..... 12.071 :cuss
mph... 113.74
The weather was really horrible, 87 deg, 88% hum, 30.00 baram, 2200 DA ft.
for such an overall low turnout at HRP (you could literally hot lap the entire night if you wanted), there were several C5s there running, including some forum members. Nice to see. :cheers:

I kept experimenting with the launch since it was my first time with the BFG's. I found 4800 with a real quick slip worked the best for me. I couldn't believe how well those DR's hooked; I started off with a 3800 launch on the first pass and kept working up to the 4800 because I was bogging so bad. :smash:
