Default 2002 AFR help

I have an 02 z06 with Kooks LTs, off road Xpipe, and Vararam intake. My buddy did a street tune with HPTuners after the LT install, and there was a noticeable difference in performance after the LT install and then again after the tune.

My issue is while we were tuning I was watching the road and not the AFR gauge. Right when I punch it the AFR drops from 14.7ish down to 12.8ish then runs all the way down too 11.1 at red line, dropping as the RPMs climb. I'm not 100% sure what he changed fuel wise other than timing. The car runs strong and feels boarder line ready to roast new tires in second with a role on.

My question is: Should I be seeing 12.8 across the RPM range or is dropping down that low normal. FYI temps are like 95 degrees and super high humidity Central Florida in August.

The only time you should be seeing an AFR as fat as 11.1 : 1 is if you are fi.

For a N/A car, an AFR between 12.6 - 13.0 : 1 should give you best power and MBT assuming no knock retard. Your definitely fat up top from the sounds of it.

Could to much timing be making the computer add fuel casing the rich state?
