we messed up
tried to clean the back hatch and the black which now appears to be paint has come off. its all smudged and smeared. we were using tough stuff cleaner, any ideas on how to get this mess cleaned up?

I am guessing you mean the black matte finish on the underside......
if you removed the paint you will be repainting...

Are you talking about the rubber type coating? I did the same thing a few years back. Some cleaners are way too harsh. You are going to have to get some sem and start cleaning to get the rest off then repaint.

I believe we got it cleaned up.. My husband has the same model, and has been using this cleaner for years.. We ended up just washing down with water, and it cleaned it up.. nothing like water..
