CCW's are a good choice. I have SP500's, but they all look good, Just your personal choice. John and Chip can answer any questions you have. The customer service is outstanding. Buy with tires mounted and balanced if you can. Good luck with your purchase and enjoy!
The big thing with RAW Billet aluminum is that in my opinion nothing looks better when properly maintained. Its a lot of money especially with the shipping. If you have the time and the passion to keep them looking pristine, you can not buy a better looking wheel especially for a torch red C5.
These wheels are not for a daily driver because a daily drive usually means you work and may not have time to keep them looking good. If you are selective about driving your car, and can spend five minutes using a leaf blower if you get caught in the rain, there is little maintenance. I spend about 8 hours a year ( one four hour session at the beginning of the nice weather) and one four hours session at the end. I wipe them down usually every time a take the car out and put it away. BTW The CCW crew, are good people. So you are dealing with a good company.
I went through the same process and ended up with a local
company--CCW. It is a subjective I know, but CCW is a fine
company and what lured me was the great customer service.
You will get a lot of compliments. And one question I was get.
"What kind of wheels do you have?" (sic).
Congratulations.
Same here CCW. I've had mine about 3 months now and could not be happier with them. To me they make the car jump out at ya I went with 19" all around, new tire sensors, new Hankooks tires too. Good luck with your purchase I believe you will also be pleased.
After seeing your picts I cant decide between the T10s and the 505a...they both look great.
It's 7am here and around 4pm in Florida I think...so I'm ready to make the call. I've been dealing with Dan@ CCW by email to date.
Cost to ship to NZ was around $450 US and thats just the rims...I can get tires here..
NZ is a petrol head nation...you'd be surprise at the amount of American cars we have rolling our streets or tucked away in garages.
Re one of the posters: This is going to be my sunny day, Sunday driver and I'm up for the maintenance required to keep these wheels looking pristine....although I best go order some jacking point inserts.
Right....best get on the phone to CCW and make it happen
Thanks for the heads up! Loved the picts...Love the C5 forum
It's a Public Holiday over there I'm told....John just happened to have popped into CCW to grab something and took my call. I ended up ordering tires as well as it didn't add to much more to the freight bill...

Don't forget the sensors too. IM sure it was mentioned you don't want to drive without them.
Thanks for that Evil...John did add those to my invoice. He said they typically last for around 8 years so I'm glad they've been added. What would happen if you didn't have them just out of interest?

Several things would happen. Every time you started your car you would get a warning on your digital information center. then you would never know when and if you had a tire leak or a low tire pressure issue until the car lost its control performance. Without a spare tire the tire pressure sensors add a level of safety that would display as a low tire pressure warning. Most people with non run flat tires keep a compressor in their car. If you pick up a nail or a screw and loose pressure you get a warning when tire pressure gets to 25 psi. At this point you would want to use your compressor to take the tire back up to 45 PSI and continue on your way to find a place to repair the tire. M<any screws and nail leak slowly and will allow you to add some air to continue on your way. A slow leak could take 30 minutes to go from 45 psi to 25 PSI. Tjis 45 PSI would only be used while your tire is leaking. You want to maintain a normal tire pressure around 30 PSI . IN hot weather you do not want your tire to exceed 32/33 psi. I like to run my tires at 30 psi HOT.

Any CCW wheel you go with and your getting a quality product. I'd say the only downside is taking the time to keeping them cleaned and shined properly. I would never have bought these wheels if this was a daily driver, it just takes too long.
The finished project is always gratifying to look at.
