Default car locks on its own
Have a 2002 convertible when in the garage I hear a horn then I go out and doors are locked. Its good for a day or so then it starts again. I have the auto lock on but this just started in the last few weeks

I'm guessing you have the key and fob in your pocket and are accidentally activating the lock. I've done this a few time with the alarm too.

My 98 did the same thing, when I checked the battery it was going so I replaced it and all's been well since.
