I try to keep my Vettes super nice and clean them regularly. My 09 Z06 has ultra low milage and is so clean you could almost eat off it (not literally of course ). My C5 is detailed regularly but I've been slacking in on area on that car and that's the engine. It gets driven a lot more than the Z06 and I just haven't had the time to do it. So before I put both cars away for the winter, I want to do an engine detail on both.
Looking for some tips from forum members on products you use and methods to get a really nice clean engine compartment. Post pics if you have them.

Watched both videos, thanks for posting the links. Looks like I'll be doing the Simple Green and brush method. I'm surprised the guy in the first video used as much water directly on the engine as he did. He did a good job at covering every thing up but with the amount of electronics these cars have in them that's my biggest fear, getting water where it shouldn't be. Luckily my hose sprayer has a mist setting which is the one I'll be using.
