What would be some good tire setups for the following wheels:
CCW Race Classics
18x11 front
18x12 rear
....just curious what your opinion is.
I have a pair of 295/35/18's I can reuse on the front 18x11's. If I do that, which tires should I get for the rear 18x12's?
Would the following work?
295/35/18
315/35/18
Are 295's too much for the front if the car is street-driven most of the time (not used for racing events)?
I think your rims are going to stick out. I have 18x10 front and 18x11 rear. They sit right at the edge of the wheelwell. I run 265/35's and 295/35's Vred Ultrac Sessantas and they fit right, correct diameters, and are right at the lip edge.
Thanks for the reply striper. I know they will stick out. I'm just curious to see what tire sizes would be great with those wheeels. I've seen people run 275's and 335's, but I want to see if 295's and 315's might work. Thanks
FWIW: I ran CCW Big Street Classics for a number of years on my car. Those were 18x10 and 18x11.5. I ran 275x35 and 315x30 Michelin PS2's and the rears were flush. 295's on the front and the car will turn like a pig on the street.
Were the rims built for your car? That is going to make a big difference
as to how the tires will fit.
The 295's may rub when turning. Camber may be your friend.
The 315 rears should be no problem. Camber again is your friend.
If U R going to buy these tires I would not go 295 fronts.

Double check those widths.
same here.............18x 11 gonna be a tough one to fit a tire that dosent look stretched ,and if u do its gonna pull all over the highway
